WineTrails of Oregon - Houston we have lift off!

July 18, 2009

Fellow WineTrail trekkers WineTrails of is ready for your traveling pleasure. Released in June, it has taken awhile to revise the website and add WineTrails of Oregon to the shopping cart. However, we are now in a go position! You can purchase the book now and I would be happy to sign it and include any personalized message you wish.

Andy Perdue of Wine Press Northwest gave a wonderful review of the book for the 2009 summer issue -- Love that! But the best reaction has occurred in Oregon where about 50 wineries, wine bars and gift shops have signed up to carry the book and its selling fast.

Meanwhile, I have been spending considerable time in Idaho researching/writing the WineTrails of Idaho book which I am terribly excited about. Why? Because Idaho has some surprising wineries, stunning scenery and a wine making community that is very excited to participate in this production. My goal is to send the "manuscript" to the printer by December with a targeted publishing date of March 2010. (Note: WineTrails of Idaho will be bitesize relative to the Washington and Oregon editions but what the heck...I like that!
